Dear parishioners,
As you know, every year the collection that we take up on Thanksgiving day is always dedicated to helping provide for local needs in Paulding County; this year, our Thanksgiving collection was $616. With this money, combined with a little bit from our Mission Fund, Divine Mercy was able to send $500 to the Caring and Sharing Food Pantry in Paulding, and $500 to the Antwerp United Methodist Church Food Pantry. In the past, we have also sent money to the Food Pantry operated out of the Payne Methodist church, but we were informed that this ministry is no longer in operation.
Our Day of Grace in Paulding will take place this Wednesday, Dec. 14: 8:30-10:00 A.M., 12:00-2:00P.M., and 4:00-8:00 P.M.
Our Day of Grace in Payne will take place next Wednesday, Dec. 21: 8:30-10:00 A.M., 12:00-2:00 P.M., and 5:00-8:00 P.M.
