Dear parishioners,
Every year, Bishop Thomas celebrates a Mass at Rosary Cathedral in Toledo for couples in the diocese celebrating significant wedding anniversaries. Registration for this year’s anniversary Mass is now open. So, if 2022 marks your 25th, 40th, 50th, 60th or 60th-plus wedding anniversary, you are warmly invited to join Bishop Thomas for a Mass offered in your honor on Sunday, October 9th, at 3:00pm at Our Lady, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Cathedral, 2535 Collingwood Blvd., Toledo. As this Mass will be celebrated on a Sunday, this Mass will fulfill your Sunday obligation. In addition to attending this Mass, you will also receive a certificate from the Bishop to commemorate the occasion. Registering for this event is easy; it can easily be done online by going to https://toledodiocese.org/diocesan/mass-on-the-anniversaries-of-marriage and clicking on the link. However, if you prefer, you can always call the parish office and we can take care of it for you.
As a reminder, our annual parish picnic will take place on Sunday, July 10 immediately following the 10:30 Mass. All are certainly welcome to come! As you have seen advertised in previous bulletins, those with last names beginning with A-L bring appetizers and desserts and those with last names beginning with M-Z bring salads and sides. Hope to see you there!
As you have also seen advertised in previous bulletins, our Vacation Bible School will be taking place July 18-21, from 6:00-8:30 in the Antwerp Center. This event is open to all children from age 4 through those going into 6th grade. Please contact Theresa Conley if you have any questions or would like to help in any way.
In the coming weeks, we will be finalizing the information for the year-end annual financial report. As always, we will mail this out to everyone once it is completed.
