Parish Ministries

Prayer Groups – small group gatherings dedicated to sharing faith and praying for our community and personal petitions. Groups gather at various times so contact the parish office for more information.

Prayer Chain – we pray for anyone in our parishes or in the community who needs it especially if they are going through difficult times or serious illnesses.

Rosary Leaders – assist in leading the rosary before Mass and communion services.

Liturgy of the Word for Children – a lectionary based approach to religious education for children in kindergarten and first grade. The weekly lessons follow the Sunday Gospels of the Church’s liturgical year.

Funeral Dinners – minister to grieving families in our parishes by preparing and serving meals after funeral Masses. Part of the ministry includes calling parishioners for donations for the meal.

Homebound Ministry – caring for the spiritual needs of those who are unable to leave their homes. This includes bringing Communion to the homebound.

Hospital Ministry – cares for and distributes Communion to Catholics in the hospital.

Nursing Program – caring for the health needs of parishioners, including taking blood pressures after Mass.

Annual Bazaar – an annual event and fundraiser held in November. It includes a meal, crafts, bake sale, and raffle.

Fab Fifties – is a ministry for everyone age 50 and over. It is a time of spiritual and social fellowship. Renewing old friendships and establishing new ones helps us build our parish community.

Knights of Columbus – The world’s largest Catholic Service organization. These Catholic men make a difference in serving faith, community, family, youth, and fellowship.

Retreat Team – a ministry that provides an awakening to the power of the Holy Spirit. It can be life changing and can bring you to a new level of faith and help your spiritual life to flourish. Your sense of parish community will be greatly enriched.
